The Guyana Festival returns as the centrepiece of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, marking Guyana's 60th anniversary of independence.
Running from May 15–17 at the Guyana National Stadium, this three-day extravaganza brings together the best of Guyanese music, arts, food, and culture. Expect performances from top local and diaspora artists, cultural exhibitions from all six ethnic groups, a massive food village, craft markets, and family-friendly activities.
This is the 'Homecoming' event the government has been building towards — a celebration designed to welcome the diaspora back and showcase the best of Guyana to the world.
