Ricky Reid, known as Lil Rick or the Hypa Dawg, is one of the most successful musicians in Barbadian history. He pioneered bashment soca alongside producer Peter Coppin, fusing Jamaican dancehall energy with Bajan soca rhythms. A multiple-time Party Monarch and Road March champion at Crop Over, he has released over 200 commercially recorded tracks across seven studio albums since 1997.
