Oswald Hussein is a Lokono (Arawak) artist from Guyana best known for his wooden sculptures that explore the spiritual and cultural dimensions of Arawak Amerindian tradition. His carvings preserve indigenous stories and ancestral knowledge in physical form, making him one of the most respected traditional craftspeople in the country.
