“Two-time Guyana Prize winner and cultural advisor”
A Guyanese author, journalist, and editor based in Georgetown. He has won the Guyana Prize for Literature twice — for "Ariadne and Other Stories" in 2002 and "Fictions" in 2012 — and won the Small Axe Prize. A fellow of the Iowa Writers' Programme and the Cropper Foundation, he now serves as a cultural advisor to the Government of Guyana.
